Full cooling capacity - even when defrosting
With our new DXi system, we are redefining the cooling of docked aircraft: constant volume flow, precise temperature control - even during the defrosting process.
Our PCA unit delivers a constant cooling capacity of up to 18,000 kg/h air volume flow - making it the world's first Code F air conditioning unit to efficiently supply air to all aircraft types up to and including the Boeing 747-8. Thanks to two independent cooling circuits, continuous cooling is ensured, even during defrosting. The defrosting process is triggered as required (not time-controlled), which significantly increases efficiency and comfort. The outlet temperature remains below 5.5 °C even during defrosting.
