The double or triple telescopic, insulated double casing pipe made of stainless steel impresses with its long service life, excellent stability and minimal maintenance requirements - and ensures maximum efficiency with low pressure loss.
The ISTinox PCA telescopic tube is the only one of its kind with decades of operating experience. The completely stainless steel construction is robust, corrosion-resistant and practically maintenance-free. Thanks to the smooth inner surface, pressure loss is minimal and thermal insulation is maximum. The construction is self-supporting and adapts to axial and lateral movements of the passenger boarding bridge. The telescopic tubes at Zurich Airport Terminal E, for example, were installed in 1999 and are still in operation.
